The evening kicked off on the Courtside Stage with an exhilarating performance by Kristine St-Pierre. She sang a variety of songs from her album Call Me Crazy and EP La Promesse, which both feature songs in English and French. St-Pierre began her set with just her guitar, generating a stripped down, authentic tone. When the band later joined for certain songs, the contrast was engaging, setting aura of enthrallment for the rest of the night.

Biography
Kristine St-Pierre is an award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter with soul-searching ballads and a rollicking country flair. She weaves together a rich blend of folk, roots, and country music, captivating listeners with both English and French lyrics. Described as a ‘chansonnière’ with a traveling heart,’ Kristine's songs create an emotional journey that transcends language and genre. She received a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for her album La promesse released in 2017. In 2025, she received the award for Francophone artist of the year by the Country Music Association of Ontario. Released in 2024, her fourth album, Love & Vulnerability, is described "as a magnificent blend of folk, pop and roots with impressive songwriting and song craft."
Kristine is also a strong advocate for equality, use her voice and expertise to advance women's and girls' rights. Her song "Les femmes" has received airplay on CBC's Q with Tom Power as part of a commemoration of the 1989 Montreal École Polytechnique massacre. She also counts herself lucky for having had the opportunity to perform in several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ukraine and most recently in Belgium and France.
Kristine has also released the Christmas album Noël avec toi in 2019 with franco-manitobain artist Justin Lacroix. You can see her perform her holiday repertoire every year in November and December. Her latest holiday EP Chansons pour Noël was exclusively released on Bandcamp, while a full release is in the works for November 2026.

Elle tisse un riche mélange de folk, de roots et de country, captivant son public avec ses paroles en anglais et en français. Chansonnière au coeur voyageur, ses chansons créent un voyage émotionnel qui transcende les langues et les genres. Elle a été nominée aux Prix de musique folk canadienne pour son album La promesse paru en 2017 (catégorie auteur-compositeur francophone de l'année). En 2025, elle est récipiendaire du titre Artiste francophone de l'année par la Country Music Association of Ontario. Sorti en 2024, son quatrième album, Love & Vulnerability, est décrit comme « un magnifique mélange de folk, de pop et de roots, avec une écriture et un talent musicaux impressionnants ».
En tant que militante pour les droits des femmes, elle prête sa voix à plusieurs causes qui lui tiennent à coeur. Sa chanson "Les femmes" se retrouve à quelques reprises sur l'émission de radio Q avec Tom Power dans le cadre de la commémoration du massacre à l'école polytechnique de 1989.
Elle se compte très chanceuse d'avoir pu présenter sa musique non seulement à travers le Canada, mais dans plusieurs pays dont le Kenya, le Nigéria, le Congo, l'Ukraine et plus récemment en Belgique et en France.
Kristine a aussi lancé l'album Noël avec toi en 2019 avec l'artiste franco-manitobain Justin Lacroix. On peut la retrouver avec son répertoire des fêtes à chaque année aux mois de novembre et décembre. Son dernier EP Chansons pour Noël est sorti exclusivement sur Bandcamp.
